Ideal for anglers keen to fish the rivers and lakes in the area, walkers and ramblers who can access all grades of walks from here and with The Clwydian Way & Offas Dyke walks all within 2 miles. Fantastic views from the cottage itself as you can see here over the Vale of Clwyd & Moel Famau.

Cyclists, both road and mountain the choices are endless or if you simply want somewhere quiet to relax, Teal cottage provides comfort and a warm welcome to all.

The Historical market town of Ruthin has visitor attractions to include Ruthin Castle, the old jail, Nantclwyd y Dre a medieval house, the award winning craft centre & numerous walks along the glorious Clwydian range of mountains. Llyn Brenig for trout fishing, the River Clwyd for salmon & sea trout fishing (gillie by arrangement) & carp & coarse fishing all available locally. A golf driving range within 1 mile and a nine hole course within 2 miles. Central location 20 miles from the walled city of Chester, the beautiful town of Llangollen 10 miles & the North Wales coast a 20 minute drive.

For those who do not wish to cook, a 2 minute walk away from one of the best country pubs in the vale, enjoy the food, or simply sit by the fire and enjoy a quiet pint of traditional ale. However short or long your stay we are sure you will have a fantastic time with plenty to see and do.
